Company background

Established in 2008 and based in Shoreditch in London, Docutiva is the product of Archeris Limited, a technical agency focussed on building rich business applications that improve efficiency and create value for clients in the areas of data, financial and workflow management. Docutiva launched in a production capacity in November 2009 and is comprised of a team of technical specialists with extensive financial industry experience.

Archeris employs strict security standards and policies across all areas of our business, and follows internal policies for all tasks relating to client data, our software, environments, and backup procedures. In addition to internal disk-level data encryption on all company storage devices, we operate industry-standard clear desk policies and do not store or access client data internally, unless required and authorised to do so.

Docutiva is built on the Microsoft ASP.net framework with Microsoft SQL Server used to house data. Docutiva is a member of the Microsoft Bizspark program, a Microsoft initiative to support leading software startups.

SAAS Risk Mitigation

As a hosted software solution, Docutiva mitigates customer risk by contractually meeting the following key points:

• Clients maintain full ownership of all data created within their account
• Docutiva provides a secure on-demand data download of all data on authorised request
• Docutiva provides a self-installable version of its software to clients in the event of a failure to support contractual obligations

Our support sets us apart. We offer full telephone, web and email support that ensures you always have someone to talk to when you need to. We help train both your staff, provide documentation and templates to get you started, and even organise your bulk mailing if needed. We are so confident in our software and support that you are assigned a personal account manager who will personally handle your queries if you have any problems.

Enterprise technology

Docutiva is built on the Micrsoft ASP.net platform, the same technology as used by many large financial companies such as banks and insurers, where security and reliability are critical to success. Industry standards and best practices have been used both in the design of our software and in the security employed to manage it.

Hosting and backups

By default, Docutiva is hosted in the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), allowing us to benefit from Amazon’s scaling and security infrastructure. Full system backups are run daily, this includes databases and the entire file system. These are remotely backed-up to an off-site server in a separate datacentre across encrypted SSL. We can arrange for large enterprise clients to have separate installations on private servers if required. Please talk to our sales team if this is a requirement.

Security

The Docutiva domain is secured via 128-bit encrypted SSL by GoDaddy Inc. GoDaddy is a Top 5 global Certification Authority and one of the largest SSL authentication experts in the world.today. If you would like to use your own domain for hosting and require an SSL certificate for your domain, we will advise you and will configure and install it for you.
