How do I create multiple user accounts easily?
Using our batch routines, you can create and upload a spreadsheet containing all the user account details you would like created and this will be done in a single batch process.
What is the limit on file storage?
Each plan has different storage limits. If you are using more than your agreed capacity you may incur an additional charge for the monthly storage.
Can I upload multiple files at once?
Yes. This can be done either into an individual workspace using our multiple uploader or across numerous workspaces using our powerful batch routine.
Can I upload documents into multiple workspaces at once?
Yes. Docutiva has a powerful batch routine that enables you to upload a single ZIP archive and to have your files distributed into the correct workspaces using an intelligent naming convention to identify where they belong.
Does the system email the client after an upload is complete?
When completing a batch upload to multiple accounts, workspace users will receive an automated email letting them know a new document has been uploaded to their workspace. When doing a single manual upload, you have the choice of selecting whether to send an email to the workspace user or not.
Can I access a file if I know the URL?
Only if you are logged into the system and have access to the document you are attempting to download. The system authenticates every request to make sure your account has the correct permission to access it.
Can I create folders to organise and store my documents?
Yes. The file module works in a similar way to Windows to allow you to create a neat folder structure in which to organise your documents.
What types of files can and can’t be uploaded?
The only limitations to file uploads are those that present security threats, such as executable application files, etc.
What are the limits on file uploads?
As standard, individual file uploads are limited to 100mb in size. This can be increased if required and the platform has been successfully tested with file uploads exceeding 1GB.
