How do I create multiple user accounts easily?
Using our batch routines, you can create and upload a spreadsheet containing all the user account details you would like created and this will be done in a single batch process.
How many admin users can we have?
There is no limitation on the number of admin users you can have. We suggest keeping strict control over your admin logins though and making sure these are updated whenever someone leaves the company or should no longer have access to the system.
What types of users are there and how do they differ?
Docutiva has 3 levels of users ie. administrators, managers and workers. Administrators have total control over the system and all workspaces and can change system-wide settings. Managers have control over specific workspaces and can change settings relating to the workspaces they have access to. Workers are participants in a workspace and cannot change admin settings within the workspace.
Can users share accounts and login details?
No. This is a security breach and makes security very difficult to manage from the company perspective. We recommend that you take logins and security very seriously and scrutinise who in your organisation has access to administrator accounts and passwords.
Can clients see other client’s information across workspaces?
No. Each user has specific permissions that are defined according to which account, company and workspace they are associated to. A user can only view or download data from a workspace they have access to.
Can a client participate in more than one account or workspace?
Yes. A user or client can participate in multiple workspaces, either under the same account/company or across multiple accounts/companies.
How many accounts and workspaces can Docutiva support?
Docutiva is an enterprise application built to scale and can support millions of users. You are not limited in how many users, accounts or workspaces you can manage.
