Hosting

Docutiva is hosted in the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). This gives us the benefit of Amazon’s scaling and security infrastructure and enables us to deploy new servers within minutes as our requirements increase. We can provide hosting on private servers for large enterprise clients.

SSL and application security

Security is fundamental to both our clients and the success of our software. Docutiva uses strict security standards and policies across all areas of our business and follow strict internal company policies for all tasks relating to client data, our software, test servers and live server environment. Our security features include:

• Staff access to client data must be authorised

Service Level Agreement

Amazon EC2 offers a highly reliable environment where replacement instances can be rapidly and predictably commissioned. Our Service Level Agreement commitment provides 99.95% availability.

Secure Firewall

Docutiva provides a complete firewall solution, configured to enable tight security in a three-tiered application such as Docutiva. The firewall infrastructure supports the ability to grant granular access to different administrative functions on the instances and the firewall, therefore enabling additional security through a separation of duties.

Data backups

Docutiva takes data backups very seriously and makes both on-site and off-site backups of its databases and client data daily. In the highly unlikely event of a total disaster, Docutiva can be restored to within 24 hours of the disaster occuring.
